Holly Wagner

Holly’s life is full and busy. Just the way she likes it! Like most women, she wears many hats….wife, mom, pastor, teacher, author and cancer survivor.

She and her husband Philip have been married 23 years and are committed to at least 23 more! They have taught many relationship seminars around the world and love doing it.

She loves spending time with her two children….and continues to work out, so that she has the energy to do it! Her son Jordan is 21, and her daughter Paris is 16 and is very passionate about horses!

She and her husband Philip co-pastor the Oasis Christian Center – a growing, relevant, multi-cultural, multi-generational church located in Los Angeles between Beverly Hills and Hollywood. The church reaches people in the entertainment industry, business community and many families with its creative way of communicating the love of God. The Oasis is active in the community by feeding the homeless, partnering with Habitat for Humanity to build homes, partnering with Project Angel food to take food to those with HIV, and have adopted two communities in Guatemala with plans to see them flourish.

Holly has a real passion to see women become who God has designed them to become, and to see every generation of woman extend a helping hand to that generation that is younger. Out of this passion GodChicks arose. GodChicks is the women’s ministry of the Oasis and has grown to reach thousands of women around the country. (check out www.GodChicks.com for more info)

She speaks at churches and conferences all over the world, and loves that she gets the chance to speak into the lives of all kinds of people. She has been featured on many TV shows; Fox Family’s Parenting Show, Dick Clark’s The Other Half, Berman and Berman, TBN’s  Praise the Lord and JCTV, and the 700 Club.

She has written a few books, Dumb Things We Do, which offers a humorous yet challenging approach to overcoming relationship obstacles; God Chicks, which has become a best-seller and examines with humor and honesty the many facets of being a God chick. Her fresh and funny style brings a new message: these qualities are not something a women needs to work hard to acquire; the qualities of a God chick are already an integral part of who she is.

With God Chicks, Holly seeks to blow the lid off the boxes that women have sometimes put themselves in and encourages women to be the amazing, world-changing champions they were made to be.

In January of 2005 Holly’s world was rocked when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She has been on the healing journey and has learned much about health! She is working hard to be the warrior chick and to defeat this challenge. She has written a devotional Daily Steps for GodChicks which has been a help to tens of thousands around the world. Her newest book WarriorChicks, is probably her favorite!  In her trademark witty style, Holly uses her own life experiences to deliver humorous yet poignant principles for facing any crisis life throws at you.
